About the NSCAD Open Research Archive + Audiovisual (NORA AV):

The NSCAD Open Research Archive - Audiovisual (NORA AV) is a digital space for collecting, preserving, and disseminating audiovisual works created by the NSCAD University community, as well as material connected to the history of NSCAD. Currently there is a focus on building digital collections in NORA AV that showcase the scholarly research and creative outputs of NSCAD students, faculty, staff, and community. The NSCAD Library is currently building its born-digital audiovisual collections in the following areas:
  • NSCAD student and faculty audiovisual and media work, and related documentation
  • Recorded NSCAD events including public lectures, student shows, and performances
The NSCAD Library is also a contributing member to the CAUL-CBUA Atlantic Islandora Repository Network. NSCAD’s CAIRN collections showcase the archival and scholarly outputs of the NSCAD community. Click here to check out these collections. The main difference between the two repositories is format and content, NORA AV focusing on larger scale audiovisual works and related documentation.
